About Woodley Park Archery Range and the Woodley Park Archers

ATTENTION WPA STUDENTS, ARCHERS AND FRIENDS:

GROUP LESSONS OF ANY KIND ARE CURRENTLY PROHIBITED AT WOODLEY PARK ARCHERY RANGE- FACE COVERINGS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING REQUIRED. PRIVATE INSTRUCTION LIMITED TO TWO STUDENTS PER LESSON.
The Woodley Park Archers free Introductory Archery Classes and JOAD classes as well as all group lessons are currently prohibited at the Woodley Park Archery Range pursuant to City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks current COVID-19 prohibition of holding group lessons.  Please check back here, on Facebook, and on Instagram for the most updated information.

The Woodley Park Archery Range is located in the San Fernando Valley, near the junction of the 405 and 101 freeways. The range is open from sunrise to sundown, seven days a week, except during WPA classes, activities and events (check the WPA Range Schedule for closures.) The range was founded in 1984 by the Easton Sports Development Foundation as a training facility for the Olympic Games, and is maintained by the Woodley Park Archers, the U.S. Army Corp. of Engineers and Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks.

The objective of the Woodley Park Archers is the elevation of the sport of archery through education and the promotion of youth, family and individual archery participation. Membership is open to archery enthusiasts who wish to support the club and the range.
