Is private instruction available?

How can I become a member of the Woodley Park Archers?

Thank you for supporting the range and our programs! Go to our registration page and create an account, if you don’t have one already. Once your registration is confirmed, you can head to the membership section in the menu.


What is my membership fee used for?

Membership fees help support our public classes, maintain our equipment, and maintain the range facility, including bales for the long range and the short range.


How can my child become part of the WPA JOAD program?

Our Woodley Park Archers Junior Olympic Archery Development Program is open by invitation only to young archers up 18 years of age who have adequate archery experience, and demonstrate talent and commitment to serious pursuit of the sport of archery. Please ask a WPA instructor if you would like more information about our JOAD program.


Are crossbows and broadheads allowed at the range?

Crossbows and broadhead arrows are NOT allowed anywhere on the Woodley Park Archery Range due to issues of safety and range damage.


Can groups and private parties reserve part of the range?

Yes, range reservations are possible, subject to certain requirements and restrictions. Requirements include scheduling in advance and providing proof of qualified supervision and proof of insurance, subject to other limitations. To inquire about scheduling an event, please contact us at wpa4calendar@gmail.com. Be sure to check the Calendar for availability first.


Do you have a lost and found?

Yes! Found archery equipment and personal items are turned in and stored. Our lost and found can be accessed during class times. Classes are Wednesday nights 6 – 8 pm, Saturday mornings 9 am – 12 pm, and most Tuesday nights 5 – 7 pm. Classes are occasionally canceled and our lost and found may not be available. Please ask a WPA instructor or staff if you have lost an item at the range.
